What is a cockroach hotel?
These traps are designed to not instantly kill the cockroach, but to poison them and slowly kill them. Cockroaches should smell the bait, inside of the trap. Go eat some of the bait, then go back to their hiding spot and die there, then the other cockroaches will eat the dead poisoned cockroach and in turn be poisoned. Then continue the cycle
In the box
Inside the Combat Roach Killing Bait box you'll find 6 traps, sealed together in a plastic bag. It's also available in a 12 pack (almost same price as a 6 pack, in my area at least)
The traps is good for up to 90 days (3 months), after they are placed (removed from the plastic)
Placement
Before placing the traps, you want to clean the areas first. If there's available food before they get to the trap, why would they eat from the trap?
You will want to place the traps in area you expect cockroaches to be, such as around the sink and trashcans, underneath the fridge and where you might have seen cockroaches coming from
Then leave it there for a few weeks. Should you feel a trap isn't have too good effect in a placement, then you can try to move it to another areas
Effect
I barely see any cockroaches after using the trap for a few months, so the trap does what they advertise
Depending on how big issue you have, you might have to replace the traps a lot sooner than 90 days. Just for maintenance, they should last 60-90 days without issue
Conclusion
The traps works really well and is a good option to fight any cockroache problem
I've tested them towards German cockroaches and for that they work well
