Chocolate covered fruit

Directions

  1. Cut desired fruit into bite sized pieces.

    Tip
    If you're using banana. Ensure the fruit is ripe and firm. If over ripe, you can have issues with the fruit falling apart

  2. Place fruit on a tray with parchment paper, once full put in the freezer for 1 hour or until firm

  3. Once the fruit is firm, add chocolate and oil in a bowl. Microwave wave on 30 seconds intervals, with stirring in-between until chocolate is completely melted. If you don't have microwave, water bath is also possible

  4. Dip the fruit in chocolate, and put back on the parchment paper. Using a fork, will allow excess chocolate to drain, before moving it to the parchment paper. If you want topping, add it straight away as the chocolate will become fairly firm quickly due the the fruit being frozen

  5. To ensure the chocolate get proper firm, put back in freezer for 1 hour. Can be stored in freezer for up to 2 weeks, after that the chocolate will start loosing it's flavor. Banana chocolate covered can be eaten straight from freezer, other fruits could need to relax slight on the table or in the fridge, before serving
