Recipe for Norwegian waffles

Directions


Mix dry ingredients and milk

Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add slight and slight milk, while wisping between each time you're adding milk

Melt butter in frying pan

Melt butter on the stove or microwave and let it cool slight. Skip if using liquid butter

Add eggs

Now add the eggs and stir until the batter is thin and nice

Add butter

Now add the melted butter

Let the batter rest

To get a good result, it's important that the batter get to rest at least 30 minutes. You can place it in the fridge and get it later

TIP: The batter stays fine a few days in the fridge, so you can also make batter a day in advance or you can pour in empty soda bottles, then store in the freezer for a longer period

Cook waffles

Set your waffle iron to desired temperature/cook time and let it heat up. Then add batter in the middle of your iron and close the lid. Once iron goes green, your waffle is done

Serving tip

Waffles goes well with Brown Cheese, butter, sugar, jam (strawberry, mango, etc) or other topping you might be craving. It also taste good plain
