Norwegian Lapskaus (stew) with sausage is a popular dish in Norway and comes in a few variant. This recipe is based on the light Lapskaus with sausage

Prepare ingredients
Start by finding the ingredients you need
Potatos, Carrots and Turnip
Start by pealing and cutting the potatos, carrots and turnip
You want to cut the carrots and turnip into small cubes, while cutting the potatos into slight bigger cubes
Put the cut vegetables in a casserole, fill water slight above the vegetables and add the broth cubes
Now you want to cook the vegetables until tender
Sausage and onion
While the vegetables cook, we can prepare the other ingredients
Cut the sausage into bite sized pieces. Here we use wiener, but other kinds of hotdog works fine as well
Then cut the the onion into boats and cut them into half
When the potato, carrots and turnip is ready. Add the onion and sausage to the casserole
Now you just need to cook it for a little while and the food is ready to be served
Serve and be ready for seconds
Now you can serve the food with flat bread or bread. Then put salt and pepper on the table, so people can add what they feel like
Then take bread with slight butter and dip it in the soup. Enjoy
