OnlyFans was to ban adult content

Starting October 1, OnlyFans was supposed to ban adult content. The content that have allowed them to reach 150,000,000+ users, 1,500,000+ content creators and US$ 5,000,000,000+ annually payout to it's creators
Why were they going to ban adult content?
Mastercard is coming with new stricter terms, when it comes to adult contentSome of Mastercard new requirements to take affect October 15th, include "Documented age and identity verification for all people depicted and those uploading the content", "Complaint resolution process that addresses illegal or nonconsensual content within seven business days" and "Content review process prior to publication"
It's not the first time Mastercard make it difficult for the adult industry. In December 2020, alongside VISA, they banned payments to MindGeek, parent company of among other PornHub
Content creators are not happy
Easy to say, content creators weren't happy with how OnlyFans have communicated this and suddenly informed adult content would be band. Especially since most found out through the news, without any official statement from OnlyFans directly to themSuspended October 1 ban
Adult content will be allowed to remain, after OnlyFans have gotten necassary assurancesConsidering they state suspended the ban, mean it could still come at a later time
