Dell no longer allowed to sell Alienware R12 and R10
With ever growing power laws, Alienware's latest PC's consumes to much power and have been banned in certain regions

In 2016, California introduced an energy rating classifications all computers needs to follow to be allowed to be sold in the state and it was effective from January 1st, 2019
If you go to Dell website and try to order any configuration of Alienware R12 or R10, except the base model (which is within allowed power ratings). To California or any of the other five states that have implemented this new energy rating classification. Your order will be cancelled, as stated on Dell's product page
"This product cannot be shipped to the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont or Washington due to power consumption regulations adopted by those states. Any orders placed that are bound for those states will be canceled"
The Register [↗] reached out to Dell, who confirms it affected these two models and was caused by California Energy Commission (CEC) Tier 2 implementation
