Man arrested after Police got fingerprints from Cheese photo
Smartphone cameras are now so good that Police and hackers, can get your fingerprint from those photos

Police around the world have been targeting users of now shutdown encrochat, in Operation Venetic
Currently about 60,000 user have been identified worldwide and about 10,000 of these are from the UK
“Carl Stewart was involved in supplying large amounts of class A and B drugs, but was caught out by his love of Stilton cheese, after sharing a picture of a block of it in his hand through encrochat. His palm and fingerprints were analyzed from this picture and it was established they belonged to Stewart." said Detective Inspector Lee Wilkinson
encrochat was an encrypted messaging service used by criminals involved in serious and organized crime. Police have taken down the service, but had issues unencrypting the messages. Then it's helpful when the user upload their fingerprints, so the police can identify them
Stewart have gotten a 13 years and 6 months sentence
“As part of Operation Venetic, Merseyside Police has so far arrested more than 60 people, many of whom have been charged with serious drug trafficking or firearms offences. This year will see a number of these people continuing to appear before the courts, and we welcome each and every one" said Detective Inspector Lee Wilkinson
