Last day of unlimited Google Photos storage

Starting June 1, 2021, photos and videos backed up in High quality will start to count towards your Google Account storage
Today is the last day of unlimited Google Photos storage
Starting June 1, all new uploads will count towards your 15 GB Google Account storage. Which is shared across your different Google services (Gmail, Photos, etc)
Uploads done before June 1st 2021, as part of the unlimited storage offer. Will not count towards your storage, only new uploads done beyond this date
Pixel device
Photos uploaded from a Pixel 2-5 device, is not affected and will still have unlimited storage as long as it's uploaded from that device
Additional storage
If you use up your 15GB of free storage, Google have the options for you to buy more storage at a monthly fee or you can always delete old photos / documents / emails to free some space
Of course, Google isn't the only cloud storage option out there and maybe it's time to look for a new provider...
