On May 26 2021, Amazon and MGM announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement
Amazon will acquire MGM for a purchase price of $8.45 billion

MGM (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) have a library with over 4,000 film titles and 17,000 TV shows
