Yangzi Dehumidifier CS-10E: Unboxing
I live in the Philippines and constantly have a temperature about 30°C, but in our summer months (Mid March to end of May) the temperature can go up to about 40°C
The worst thing about summer months aren't the hight temperatures themselves, but that humidity goes up with them. I often find myself showering 2-3 times a day during summer
I've two aircons, which both have dry mode. Dry mode is design to take humidity out of the air. But my aircons are window type located in the bedrooms, so living room can still be pretty humid. Even if the aircons help a lot
That's where I hope a dehumidifier will help
In the box
- Dehumidifier with 2.2L water tank - Drain hose (100cm / ~36feet) - Remote controller - Manual (English and Chinese)Remote controller
With the unit, you get a remote controller where you can adjust the settings. On the unit itself there's only a on/off button, so you'll need the remote to adjust settings
Controller is in Chinese, but manual have picture with translation
Buttons
- Power: Turn unit on/off - Sleep: Put unit to sleep - Purification - Timing: Set 1-24hr shutdown timer - Defrosting: To get dehumdification without unit freezing, if the ambient temperature is lower than 15°C - Humidity setting (+ and -): Set desired humidity level and unit will automatically stop when desired level is reachedUnit
The front of the unit have the display and that's about it
On the back, you'll find a power button, the intake and outtake for air, and the 2.2 liter water tank
Water tank or hose?
You can either use the water tank, which needs to be manually emptied when full
Or you can use a hose, that will automatically drain the unit. If you've a sink or another place to drain the water
Display
On the dehumidifier, you'll find a display where you can see current humidity and temperature in Celsius
You can also see what modes are currently active
