Potato salad: Recipe
Directions
Prepare the potato
First you'd want to peel the potato and cut them into cubes. Then boil them until they're soft and tender. Then pour of the water and let the potato cool a bit before continuing
Mix in sour cream and mayo
Now you'd want to add the entire box of sour cream and slight mayo. Then stir it in with the potatos
Cut the leek and mix it in
Now take the leek (spring onion) and cut it into small/medium sized pieces. Then mix it into the potato's
Spice it up
Now you'll want to add your spices and taste to flavor. I added a bit more than what's listed above, but this all comes down to personal preferences. Remember to mix well, each time you add spicesHere I know people like to also add Aromat (a spice), tabasco, chilly and soy sauce. So here's just trial and error, to make your own unique variant. I'm a big fan of the plain one, so that's what I'll stick with today
Let it rest
After it's all mixed together. You'd want to find some storage containers with lid and put the potato salad in the fridge for a few hours. You can eat it straight away, but it get's better if it get's to rest a couple of hours in the fridgeNow you have some lovely potato salad, that's ready to serve and fits well with a wide variety of dishes. Grilled food is probably where most people use it, but I recommend using it as topping next time you've hotdog in buns, you might be pleasantly surprised of the outcome
