Choose or Die: Review

Netflix's latest horror movie Choose or Die is featuring Iola Evans as Kayla and Asa Butterfield as Isaac, in the lead roles

Story
The story follows Kayla, who is struggling too keep a job and is supporting her depressed mother. Who only stays home, after the loss of her youngest son and is near evictionKayla goes through Isaac's old 80's stuff he just bought and came across an old video game called Curs>r and list the price to be US$ 125.000. Kayla calls the number, to see if it still works and get asked to enter a four digit code to claim the price
She agrees to meet Isaac after midnight at a local cafe to check out the game. As she's waiting at the cafe for Isaac, she text him this is why he's single. As he's completely forgotten the time and is busy working on the computer at home
She starts the game, the game says she in a tavern and ask if she want coffee or cake. Then points <--- to the menu next to the computer. She thinks it's just a coincidence and chooses coffee
Instantly the waitress says when, as she's pouring coffee at the table. Kayle gets shocked and confused, waitress repeats say when and Kayle says when. So the waitress stops pouring. Now every sentence the waitress says appears on the screen. Kayle ask the waitress if she sees the screen and how she did that, the waitress don't understand
Game asks to take a break. Kayla gets spooked of what just happened and close the computer lid. She gets transported to a different area and person says Choose or Die. She directly opens the lid and types Yes. Now the waiter keeps breaking glasses one by one. The games ask if the waitress should continue to break glasses. She replies no and the game ask if the waitresses should cleanup the mess
Kayla says yes and the waitress drops down on her knees straight onto the broken glass a s starts eating the glass pieces slowly. Kayla shouts out for the waitress to stop, but the waitress says he can't, as she continues eating
Verdict
Choose or Die is like a horror take on Jumanji. Where every choose you make, can mean the death of yourself or someone dear to youIt's a mid-range horror movie, where reviews have been very mixed and it has a general low score on big review sites. We still enjoyed it
