Disney+: Review

For many years Disney content have been available on Netflix and other streaming services around the world
Between 2018 and 2020, most of these contents was gradually removed, depending on when the licencing contracts with the different providers around the world expired. Afterwards Disney then moved the content to their own streaming service called Disney+, that launched in 2019 in United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. Later slowly rolling out around the world and some regions are still waiting for it to rollout
Disney+ Hotstar
After Disney acquired Fox in 2020, they also got the Hotstar service that's a dominant service in India and other Asian countries. To capetalize on the strong brand of Hotstar, it got rebranded to Disney+ Hotstar and included the Disney+ service, on top of what was already offered in the Hotstar serviceST★R
Most countries get Star content hub section, within Disney+. Which contain TV Shows and Movies lineup from Disney's subsidiaries FX, Freeform, Hulu, ABC Signature, 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood PicturesWhile in United States, the Star content is instead provided by the separate streaming service Hulu. While Puerto Rico and South America get most of the Start content in the separate streaming service Star+, which also have a lot of local content
Selection
Disney+ comes with a wide selection of content, all from good old classic Disney movies, to famous TV shows from one of their aquired studios to new original content only available on Disney+Disney branded content is generally available all over the world, but some of the content found under other brandings such as ST★R, Fox and Hulu might vary between regions
Even with the content varying between regions, there's still a nice wide selection of content
Subscription
Disney+ prices themselevs generally noticably lower than their competitors, while also including 4K (for supported programs) and up to 6 profiles per subscriptionWhere comeptitors such as Netflix charges extra for 4K video and additional profiles
With the exception of United States, Disney+ only operates with one package. In the United States you have the option to get Disney+ as bundle, that also comes with Hulu and ESPN Plus at an additional monthly cost
Verdict
Disney+ offers good value for your money. You'll find both new and classic content, that you'll enjoyDisney has a lot of family friendly content and is a great options if you have kids
