Hanabishi Airfryer Oven 30L HAFEO-30SS: Review

Hanabishi Airfryer Oven 30L HAFEO-30SS
In the box
- Oven 30L - Rotary - Air fryer basket - Baking pan - Oven rackYou also get a tool to take out the rotary
There's also a warranty pamphlet and manual
The instructions are clearly meant for a different market (North America), as it is saying the unit need 110V and refers to temperature in F°. While the box and the unit itself states 230V and C°
Four knobs
On the unit you'll find four knobs, which are made of plastic and can get a bit hot during extended use of the ovenStarting from the left. The first knob is Timer, where you can adjust from 0 to 60 minutes
The second knob is Temperature, where you can regulate temperature between LOW and 230°C
The third knob is Function, here you can choose between; Air Fry, Toaster, Broil, Convection Broil, Bake, Convection Toast and Toast
The fourth knob is Toaster timer, with the options of Light, Medium and Dark. This feature only works if the Function -knob is set to Toaster
Toaster
Toasting bread gives a really nice result. Just remember to remove the baking pan, to get an even result on both sides or you'll need to flip the breadYou can easily toast four bread at a time
Just remember to let it heat up a bit first or the first round of toast, might not be the result you expected. Which is true for any toaster/oven
Air Fry
If you use a traditional oven, you'll quickly notice how much quicker the food get done in an Air Fryer and it quickly becomes crispy as wellCooking meat, such as these thin Korean beef slices. Gave a similar result as you'd get from grilling on an electric or gas grill. Just that the meat was very fast done
As most air comes from the top, best result is flipping the food midways
I also recommend having the baking pan underneath, as especially meat quickly drips a lot and will make your life easier when it comes time for cleaning
Air Fry VS Frying
Air Fry is more healthy, as you use little to no oil when cookingYou'll get a similar result as to frying, but without all the oil. Some food you might want to add slight oil, as the oil gives the food a certain flavour. This of course comes down to taste and what you're trying to make
Conclusion
The product works well, create a good result and food taste goodBut Hanabishi should provide instructions manual, that's actually for the marker they're selling in and improve on their quality control. As there were a few minor scratches and dents on the unit. Considering the unit was in a sealed box, this have happened during manufacturing
The power cord is very short, so you might need an extension if not next to an outlet
Would I recommend getting one? Yes, especially if you can get it below RSP (Recommended Sales Price)
