Netflix just aquired Roald Dahl Story Company
Roald Dahl have created many famous books, that have seen their time on the big screen and now Netflix have aquired his company

Roald Dahl Story Company (RDSC) and Netflix have worked together for a few years already, now Netflix just announced they're aquiring RDSC
As we bring these timeless tales to more audiences in new formats, we’re committed to maintaining their unique spirit and their universal themes of surprise and kindness, while also sprinkling some fresh magic into the mix
Netflix also announced on Twitter that they had projects in work, even before the acquisition. Such as "an event series from the awe-inspiring vision of Taika Waititi based on the world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and another wholly original take on the Oompa-Loompas".
They also informed they have "a live action feature film adaptation of the multi-award-winning stage show Matilda, directed by Matthew Warchus — and starring Emma Thompson, Lashana Lynch and introducing Alisha Weir as Matilda". That will be released in 2022
