Cutting your dog or cat nails

When it is time to cut your pets nails, you'll need some equipment

- Pet nail cutters - Pet nail file (optional, but recommended)

Depending on how your pet is, you might want to have a second person to assist

In white nails, you can normally at one point start seeing pink area in the nails. This is your pets blood vessels and it will hurt if you cut then. They go slightly higher, than where the pink mark ends

In black nails, it's unfortunately often nearly impossible to see the blood vessel. Here I would compare with the other nails, to see roughly how far down I can go

This is also a good time to file the nails, so the edges aren't to sharp
