8BitDo NES30 Classic Edition Set: Unboxing

The 8BitDo NES30 Classic Edition Set is no longer in production, but you can still come across it in the wild
The controller feels just like a NES controller in the hand, but with four distinct differences
NES controller Vs. NES30 controller 1) NES30 is wireless over Bluetooth 2) NES30 has four buttons (A/B/X/Y), instead of just A and B on the NES controller 3) NES30 has shoulder buttons (L and R) 4) NES30 buttons are concave, compared to rounded on NES
Why pick one up?
Probably same reason as I did, cheapest and easiest way to get a Retro Receiver for NES/SNES/SFC Classic EditionI bought a 8BitDo SF30 Pro shortly after, which I then used with the SNES Classic and Retro Receiver
Both the controller and receiver supports Firmware Update, you can read more in our article about Firmware Upgrade
What's the box?
In the box you'll find- NES30 controller (later renamed N30) - Retro Receiver - Micro USB to USB cable - Manual
