Chinese Inspired Sweet Bun

Instructions
Heat milk

Heat the milk to about 45°C
Mix milk and sugar, then yeast

Mix the milk and sugar, then add the yeast. Now leave for 10 minutes, until it starts to foam
Wisp eggs

Wisp all the eggs. Once wishped, put two tbsp aside for later
Mix in flour, egg, oil and salt

Now you want to mix in the flour, egg, oil and salt into the bowl
Kneed dough

Put a generous amount of flour on a clean surface and kneed the dough for about 10 minutes, until it becomes soft and elastic
Rest for 2-3 hours

Now put the dough in a bowl, covered by a damp clothes or clinging wrap. Then put in a hot area and let it rest for 2-3 hours
Divide into equal pieces

Kneed the dough for minute, then roll into a rope and cut into equal pieces. If you haven't adjusted the recipe, it's 12 pieces
Roll then make flat

Now you want to roll the pieces into a ball, then flatten it at least in the center
Add filling

Now add the filling of your choice, then close it up and place the closed side facing down on a baking paper
Cover for 30min

Once you have filled a tray, cover it with clinging wrap or a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes
Mix egg and water

Mix the egg you put aside, with water
Pre-heat oven
Turn the oven to 175°C a few minutes before the 30mins are up, so it's hot before putting in the bunsBrush on the eggs

Grab a brush and brush on the eggs over the buns. This helps the buns get a more golden and crisper surface
Top with sesame seeds

Now top with slight sesame seeds
Put in oven
Now you want to put the buns in the oven for 20-30 minutes and halfway, you want to flip the tray to ensure it's all cooked evenly
Ready to be served

Serve while hot, just be careful that some fillings can be extremely hot
