McDonald's is in nearly every country, let's check out how they're in Philippines

Just by hearing hamburger, many people instantly think about McDonald's and with presence in nearly every country in the world, it's not that strange and the Philippines is no exception

Store variants


Most McDonald's stores look the same outside in the Philippines, but they have three distinct design

A select few location will have the golden arches design and will always be their own building

The more common McDonald's building design, found scatered across the Philippines

Just as common, if not more common is the in mall design

They also have standalone dessert stands, that only sell drinks and desserts

If you haven't been to an Asian McDonald's before, you'll quickly find a few items not commonly found else where, such as McSpaghetti and rice meals


You'll also find the food items you expect from a McDonald's, such as Big Mac and Happy Meal. Just be aware that they don't serve bacon on any meals

Inside McDonald's


Beside the dessert stands and counter area, most McDonald's in the Philippines looks fairly similar inside

Automated checkout counters are getting more and more common at most McDonald's branches, where you select what you want. Then either pay with card or other electronic payment methods at the machine or tap cash, then pay at the counter

If you selected takeout, you just queue at the pickup counter and wait for your number to appear on screen. If you selected dine-in and entered the number seen on the yellow signs. Then you just bring the yellow sign with you to a table, then the staff will deliver to your seat

In a few select McDonald's they'll also have a play area, thats free to use for guests
