Monopoly Gamer Nintendo Edition

As most of you, I grew up playing traditional Monopoly. We had a box in the closet, that might be from before I was born
Always had found memories playing Monopoly with my siblings and family, even if it was rare we played together
Now that I'm older, still addicted to Mario and so are my kids (yes, I'm fully to blame) and we're always stuck inside, I wanted a game my kids could play that wasn't on a screen. Monopoly + Mario, wasn't an hard decision
What's in the box?
In the box you'll find four player tokens with characters card, that shows the characters special abilities (more on that in a bit). The four character tokens are Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong and YoshiIn addition to these four characters, it's also possible to buy additional characters separately and these characters will each have their unique abilities. These additional characters are not part of this review
There's also two six sided dices. One regular and one with special Mario themed icons, which let you do certain actions
In addition to the four character cards. There's also four guide cards, 8 boss cards and 18 tile/land cards
Gameplay
For the most parts, it is the same as traditional Monopoly. Just with a Mario coat and few additionsIn addition to the traditional Monopoly gameplay. They've added boss fights, where you get the chance to fight 8 Mario bosses for every time you round the map
Conclusion
The Mario variant is a fun twist to the Monopoly franchise and a perfect gift for people who love Mario and board gamesIt takes a few rounds to get into the new mechanics, but let's be honest. Most playing Monopoly, uses house rules anyways
