S&R is an superstore chain in the Philippines, that sells mainly imported goods. They've everything from groceries to sofas, and this is their Santa Rosa branch, located in the Nuvali region of Santa Rosa
Parking
S&R have free membership parking for up to three hours, with a minimum purchase of PHP 500. Just make sure you leave before your time is up or they have a very high rate beyond the 3 hours
Store
After entering the store, you quickly notice the store is massive and feels a bit like a warehouse, made into a store. Which is part of how S&R keeps their cost down, by storing most of the goods in store
Beside the food items. You'll find everything from TV, fans and other electronics, to clothes and sofas. Most of these items are imported, but not all and don't be fooled by brand names. Local brands like to use foreign names, to sound more luxurious
They have an wide selection of meat, poultry and frozen seafood. They do have fresh seafood, but that's a rather small selection
Meat selection alone, can be enough for many to get a membership. They have a wide meat selection, with fairly high quality on most products and decent cuts
If you want fresh sushi, wraps, salads and more. They have an decent selection of what they call ready to eat
Besides the meat, the fruit and vegetables selection is really good. Products are normally fresh and competitive priced, compared to groceries stores
Restaurant
Next to the main store, they've their own restaurant and this restaurant can also be found outside of S&R in later years
They've a wide selection, with decent portion sizes. All from pizza slices, to chicken to hotdogs
Next to the restaurant, they have S&R Deli Corner. There they sell a wider selection of drinks, ice-cream scopes, sandwiches and pastries
Verdict
S&R Santa Rosa is fairly modern looking branch, with a decently wide selection. It has some of the same issues as other S&R branches, that it can be a bit unreliable on keeping items in stock. All in all, it's a good branch
