After many lawsuits and disagreement, Sony just unveiled first party console covers
PlayStation 5 faceplates are announced

Since the launch of PlayStation 5, Sony have had disputes with 3rd parties about console covers. Now Sony have announced five official console covers for the PlayStation 5

They continue with their galaxy inspired naming convention: Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple

Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 console covers will become available starting January 2022 in following territories; USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and the Philippines

Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue PS5 console covers will release during first quarter 2022 in same territories. More territories will come later in 2022

New DualShock colours

To match the three new colours from the faceplates, three more colours are added to the DualShock controllers: Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple
