IKEA Family have opened up for registration in the Philippines

If you live in the Philippines, you can now sign up for the Family membership for free and get a change to win a shoping spree
IKEA in the Philippines is set to launch later this year. Online store is supposed to launch first and the physical store at a later date
Today they've opened up for Family membership registration [↗] and everyone who sign up today on 7.7 have a chance of winning up to P50,000 shopping spree

Unfortunately for those trying to register just after midnight, their webpage have been struggling to manage the traffic it's been receiving
Update: We're now 12 hours into the opening of the registration page and it's still unstable and many people struggling to register
"We were prepared to anticipated 120.000 signups in the first hour, but to all our surprise we got a 100.000 people trying to sign up already in the very first minute" says Georg Platzer, Store Manager of IKEA Philippines
He reminded that the IKEA membership will continue to remain free forever, even after today
