Superstore
Landers call themselves an superstore, which by definition is a store that contains more than just a grocery sectionAfter showing the membership card at the entrance. You enter a small area, that feels like a kiosk and makes you wonder if this is all
When you walk a bit further in, you'll find an escalator taking you to the 2nd floor and the main area of the superstore
Once upstairs you'll first enter a section, that have TVs, chocolates, gadgets, laptops and cellphones
Next to the laptops you'll find a small corridor that leads into an area that have ovens, fridges, Aircons, washing machines and dishwashers
Once back outside, you'll be in a big section carrying small appliances

Just past the drinks, you're now in the grocery section. Where you'll will find dry good, rice, cans and noodles
Next up is the fruit section. You also find some counters, that are not in use and a closed exit to the 2nd floor. Indicating in more checkout options to come in the future
The fruit and vegetables section is even decorated with a decent size tree. You'll also notice the sizes of packs of fruit and vegetables aren't to big, so you can buy just what you need
You'll find most everyday fruit and vegetables, quality was very fresh and didn't see anything gone bad
Seafood has its own decent sizes area, where you can select from an assortment of fresh fish, shrimps and crabs
Both the area and the counters are properly chilled, so the food is being store in decent way and at the same time looks appealing
Fresh meats and poultry have an huge open area, where you see staff is constantly refilling. You can see the staff in the back, through a window cutting and packing the meat as needed. So the meat in these sections remains freshly cut and packed
The fresh meat is pre-packed in decent sizes packs, so you can buy just what you need and the cuts also looked nice
If you're looking sausages or cheeses, they've a decent selection and again the pack sizes are decent

Restaurant: Landers Central
Across from the superstore on ground floor, you'll find Landers Central. A restaurant that sells a wide selection of pizzas and chicken dishesMembership is requires and you get pizza slices for around PHP 130
We tried a selection of their pizzas and everyone liked them, they had good quality topping and delicious flavor
doppio
Between Customer Service and Landers Central, you'll find doppioA small café selling freshly blended juices and other café goods
Verdict
Question many might have; Should you become a member? With a membership, you get access to Landers restaurant and grocery store. Price wise you might not save a lot, compared to other superstores such as S&R or cheaper grocery storesWhat you do get, is a wider selection in products that often can be hard to find outside superstores and specialty stores, especially in regards to imported goods. Meats (pork, beef and poultry) is cut and instantly packed in-store, so freshness is preserved for longer. You'll also have access to fresh vegetables, seafoods, fruits and vegetables
If you live close to a Landers, I'd say membership is worth it for the meat selection alone. If you're already a member of another superstore, for most households I believe one membership would be enough and here depends on what you're mostly buying at the superstore
Our verdict: Check it out
