bonty is celebrating one year
Today is exactly one year since we launched bonty to the public. It's hard to believe it's already been a year
Origin
After being stuck inside for almost a year, only watching TV was not a healthy way to live. The decision was made to transform this idle time, into productive time and give the brain a chance to exerciseSite name got reused from one of the domains we already own, but the domain was never intended to be used for this
After lots of brainstorming early 2021, it was decided making a site for review and articles about homelife, tech and most in-between
Update schedule
Since the start, we aimed at having 2-3 articles publishes a week and for the first ~9 months we published at least one article a dayDuring the holiday season, just before New Year 2021. We decided we'd stop with news articles and as a result, daily updates also went away
We do aim at having daily updates again at a later stage, but for now we're happy not doing news coverage. Not to say will never do news related stories again, but we don't want to just blindly cover what so many other sites and channels are already doing
We want to focus more on in-depth articles and guides, which is also the areas we are getting most of our views. So by doing that change, we can put more time into creating better articles and doing something we actually enjoy

Plans going forward
Our current plans are to continue with 2-3 articles a week, with some weeks having additional articlesWednesday: Main article of the week Saturday: Normally a lighter article Sunday: Destination article (on select Sunday)
We also continue doing investments, so we can do more reviews and guides

Our site is constantly evolving and there's a lot of new features today, compared to when we launchedWe have more new features planned and they'll be slowly rolling out, going forward
