An 32 year old NES record was just beaten by Nintendo Switch

In November of 1988, was the last time one gaming console had the entire top 30 list in famitsu. Now Nintendo Switch had all 30 top sales spots in famitsu sales report for August 2 to 8 [↗] and beat that record. Nintendo Switch also had all top 30 spots for August 9 to 15

"All Top 30 best selling retail games in Japan last week were Nintendo Switch titles, first time a Top 30 is from a single console since at least November 1988, when the Top 30 was Famicom only."
