Dying in a video game can be frustrating, especially when you get the game over screen. Let's see how we can get a "few" extra life in Super Mario 3D World and don't worry to much about it

We've all been there, that one hard level or boss that just never wants to die. We keep fighting on, while our life counter quickly depletes
I wish one could turn of game over in Super Mario 3D World and have endless life's. As a parent, my kids love Mario and some are still a bit to young for a few of the stages. It does help with immortal Tanuki suit (look away from pits), but endless life's would be better. Luckily it's easy to farm 1Ups
Max your 1UPs
In Super Mario 3D World, go to World 1-2: Koopa Tropa Cave (second stage in the game). After starting the level, head into the pipe, so you get into the cave and take the first pipe to get up to the plato
Here you'll see two brick blocks on the ground, ground pound so you can get to the area below
Here you'll find one Koopa Tropa, jump on him and grab the shell
Now walk up to the corridor, in the same area. Stand in the door opening and make sure you are aligned horizontal and kick the shell. So it will bounce between the two narrow walls in the door opening
You'll need to be small, for this to work. If you're large, then take damage until you're small and then jump on top of the shell. Don't move and let go of your controller
Now you'll be bouncing on top of the shell in an endless loop (or until the timer runs out) and keep getting one ups. It takes about 200 seconds to completely max out your 1Ups. When you're done, you can just exit the stage, no need to complete it
Max life's counter
Life counter goes up to 999, then turn into crowns and three chrowns is max life
One chrown = 1000 1UPs
Two crowns = 1100 1UPs
Three chrowns = 1200 1UPs
