Is your washing machine and dryer making a lot of noise?

It's important to ensure your device is level and steady

Dryers especially, but also other equipment is important is level

Why you might wonder. These devices are design to be level and steady. That's why they normally have adjustable feet, that you can rotate up / down

A dryer has a movable drum inside it, than can spin really fast when on max speed. If the device is not steady or not level, it will vibrate more and can cause damage to the device. The extra vibration can be damagin and when it's unbalanced, it can be touching things inside the device if shouldn't be

A level can assist you in leveling your device. All the bobbles should be between the line and here we can see one isn't. Meaning the device in this case is leaning forward

This also explains why the door of the washing machine slides open, if you don't completely close it

Then you can twist the foot, to desired height. You might need a tool, as the foot can be tight. I needed an 10" (250mm) wrench for the foot

After you've adjusted the feets, you'll need to measure the level again. I had to put it down a few time, to ensure it was in the right spot. After that is done, then you need to ensure its stable. This can be done by trying to rock your device back and fort. Is it steady, it's fine. If it's not, you might need to adjust one or more feet, until it is
