Pac-Man 99 is here

On April 7, Pac-Man 99 was released for free to subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online
When you first start up game mode "Pac-Man 99", it seems like a pretty normal game of Pac-Man. But you'll notice that there's also 98 other players divided on each side of the screen
As you continue playing, you'll quickly see it's not just a standard Pac-Man game
There will start to appear white outlined Pac-Man's, which will slow you down if you touch them. There's also red variants which instantly kills you, even if you picked a candy and the ghost are blue
There's small ghost icons on the map, if the ghost traverse these. They'll become a ghost tail. They're safe to eat before a ghost touch them, but after a ghost touch them, you need to treat the tail as the ghost itself
As you continue playing, your rank will increase. It will give you bragging rights if you get up the ranks, but not much more
There's also DLC available for purchase, that will offer you offline mode and themes
If you've played Tetris 99 or Super Mario Bros. 35 (RIP), you'll quickly notice a lot of familiarise. That's not too strange, considering all three titles are developed by Arika
If you've a Nintendo Switch Online membership, I recommend downloading it and take it for a spin. It probably won't replace your normal games. But it's a nice and addictive game, for smaller sessions here and there
