Bowser's Fury

For the re-release of Super Mario 3D World on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo did more than just upgrading graphics of this Wii U title. They did enhancement to the general gameplay, such as increase movement speed, more natural entering of pipes, bug fixes and added the expansion Bowser's Fury
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a mouth full, that's for sure. The new expansion is too small alone to be a full price standalone game and by bundling it, they made at least me re-buy Super Mario 3D World. It's a great platformer and my kids won't stop playing it
For Bowser's Fury, it's an open world. Where you collect Cat Shines (similar to stars) to unlock light houses and the Giga Bells. Which in return will allow you to face of with Bowser
It's really wonderful to be in one open world, where you can choose the order you want to do things in. The world map will gradually expand, as you unlock more Cat Shines
Unfortunately, Bowser's Fury feels a bit unfinished and one would expect more from a Nintendo game. Bowser can feel a bit annoying at times, awakening in the middle of a cat shine mission you might have been struggling with for a long time. I understand that it's supposed to make the treat feel more imminent and that you need to hurry, but it ended up feeling more annoying and that you had to take a few minutes break, until Bowser decided to take a nap again
I can't wait to see what the future bring and I'd love to see Nintendo make a full game out of this concept
